At Hornbill School we offer a range of residential visits to enable children from Years 4 to 6 to take their learning outside of the classroom every year. These opportunities allow children to really live our School Values by taking part in activities which carry a degree of challenge in them. Children will need to foster their teamwork skills and be courageous in taking on new thinking. In this way, children become ever more independent as they move through the Primary School years.
Our popular destinations for residentials are Temburong in Brunei and Borneo Rainforest Resort and Kota Kinabalu area in Malaysia. Residentials to these places help our children to develope their team-building and leadership skills and also develop their understanding of rainforests and rainforest lives through activities like jungle treks, canopy walks, river rafting and other adventurous activities.
