Letter for Activity Book

Activity Book performa (pdf)

Activity Book performa (Word)

If you have a child at Hornbill School or are a member of staff then you are a member of the Parent Teacher Association.

Our PTA , Hornbill Helping Hands, is run solely by volunteers to raise money by organising and attending a variety of events throughout the school year. Our aim is to help provide the children with resources and experiences over and above what already happens in School. We also hope to bring parents together and promote good communication between

parents and staff while working towards a common goal.

Last year we produced and sold the 'Brunei Cookbook', ran school discos, donated the water fountain feature in the new FS garden, donated the sundial in the reflection garden, held a stall at the Panaga Highland Games, organised the School Tihar Fayre, ran a stall at the Garrison Christmas fayre, donated money for Christmas books and began production of souvenir tea towels.

This year we would like to fund a Launch-Pad trip or activity for one year group every term (over 2 years), donate a commemorative souvenir to every Year 6 pupil attending their final residential trip, donate fortnightly prizes to Mr Burgess' school-wide 'Maths Challenge' and give each child a Queens Jubilee commemorative coin!

We have more fundraising ideas which we hope you will continue to support. More volunteers are always very much needed and any help much appreciated. You can contact us at:

hornbillhelpinghands@gmail.com

Alternatively, speak to: Chair : Mrs Helen Graham, Secretary: Mrs Hazel Redman , Treasurer: Mrs Deepika Thapa or come along to our monthly meetings.

Next meeting: Wednesday 11th April
Venue: Chautaris 1800hrs
